ABOUT US

CATHY LEHEW

Professional Organizer
Director of Relocation Support

When Cathy LeHew entered the organizing profession in 2006, she was thrilled to begin a career helping others get control of their busy lives. After fourteen years as a litigation paralegal, she knew how to create calm during crisis. Cathy helps her clients create and maintain simplified environments so they gain time for family, friends and their community.

Her compassion and energy make the organizing session fun for both her client and her team. She helps her clients get control over their piles of clutter and creates a place and system that makes sense. With respect and integrity, Cathy takes the frustration and anxiety out of the organizing process and manages to replace those feelings with personal empowerment. It's not unlikely for her clients to end their session with a sigh of relief and a hug.

Cathy’s specialties include: team organizing, unpacking and organizing, paper management, and "right-sizing". Cathy is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization. She serves on the Executive Board of the NAPO-Richmond Chapter. She frequently speaks to groups on topics from home organizing to “rightsizing”. Cathy and her work have been featured in Style Weekly, Boomer Life Magazines and CBS-6's Virginia This Morning. She has also provided aftercare organizing services for contributors on the A&E television show “Hoarders”.
After living in Texas, Rhode Island, Ohio, Oregon, Hawaii, Guam and Maryland, she proudly calls Virginia home.

Cathy finds her true Abundance by spending her leisure time cooking, entertaining friends and family, gardening and walking her beagles, Missy and Oscar

Jennifer Shively Davis joins Abundance Organizing with a passion for helping clients live with more purpose and abundance. Jennifer empowers clients to let go of clutter physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her 15+ years of clinical experience enables her to help clients "let go," allowing them to create lasting improvement in relationships, occupational growth, self-esteem, and self-care.

JENNIFER KRESL

Administrative Assistant

Jennifer Kresl looks forward to bringing her energy and efficiency to best serve the clients and partners of Abundance Organizing. Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing and administration in several industries including healthcare, technology, publishing and entertainment. An organizer at heart, she has always brought a sense of order to her environment.

Most recently the Manager of New Business Development for Baseball America, the nation's leading baseball resource, Jennifer helped this media company publish a biweekly magazine, a wildly popular website, and several annual books. She was new to sports, and even newer to baseball, but Jennifer enjoys learning new things and was able to create opportunities, revenue and relationships. As a Program Coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Jennifer was primarily focused on fundraising and event planning, but she also staffed MDA-sponsored clinics at local hospitals to help educate both hospital staff and patients about MD and MDA's services. Most memorably, she enjoyed the best week of every year at MDA's summer camp for kids, and highly recommends volunteering.

Jennifer had many exciting years in the entertainment industry and the corporate world, but then she decided to slow down. Her life and goals changed dramatically after having a child two years ago. She and her husband chose to simplify their lives for the sake of their family. At the same time, Jennifer is a hard worker and gets a lot of enjoyment from working. She has been looking for a smaller role in a company whose goals she believes in and was thrilled to recently find Abundance Organizing.

Jennifer finds her true abundance when spending time with her young son, Luke, and her husband Scott. She is thankful to be back in the Richmond area with family and friends for all the important things, like cookouts and holidays. She enjoys reading, watching movies, yoga, massage and learning about new things- currently, her vegetable garden.
